Task Force Fukuda

April 23- 1945 – A special commando force was formed to complete the capture of Mt. Nebbione which blocked the way to Aulla.  With Marciaso and Posteria and the hill overlooking Viano captured by the 100th, Task Force Fukuda, comprised of 100th/442nd, launched a heavy offensive to clear Mt. Nebbione. They took Aulla, and cleared enemies from the surrounding area.
