Wailuku, Maui, T.H.
January 7, 1943
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hendersin:
We wish to express our deepest
thanks for your many kindnesses and
hospitality that you have extended to
our cousin, Wataru Michioka, who is
stationed at Camp McCoy. Wataru’s
letters to home have always mentioned
about your many kind deeds, and a
friendly home atmosphere means so
much to one, who is far away from home.
We are sending you a little
souvinir [sic] of Hawaii, a request which we are
fulfilling for Wataru. We hope you will
find some enjoyment in his little token
of appreciation.
Yours very sincerely,
Mr. and Mrs. A.K. Okamura
